Natural Fiber Wallpaper Information

1. Purchasing Guide

Wallpaper are made of natural fibers, hence slight colour and texture variations between samples and supplied material may occur. Any tone difference between samplings and different rolls should not to be considered as a fault.

2. Please note that natural fiber wallpaper in not suitable in wet areas.

3. The natural fiber wallpaper can not be washed or brushed. If you want to clean it, please use a vacuum cleaner.

4. Hanging instructions:

Preparation:

Before you begain hanging your natural fiber wallpaper make sure that your work area is clean and free from any clutter. It is important that you work in good natural light and that all central heating is turned off. Ensure that you have the correct amount of wallpaper and adhesive prior to commencing.

Hanging:

a. Cut the lengths to size allowing extra for trimming at ceiling and skirting. Arrange the lengths in sequence of colour and structure and number the back of each length with a pencil. Do not reverse alternate lengths, hang all drops the same way. Using a brush or roller paste the adhesive directly on to the back of th wallpaper. Do not allow adhesive on to the face surface of the wallpaper, remove any sports immediately with aclean, damp cloth to avoid stainning. Fold up the pasted ends towards the centre and roll up tight, making sure that you do not crease the paper. Allow to soak for approcimately 8-10 minutes.

b. Hang the first length using a plumb line.

c. Using a dry roll, smooth down the centre of the paper to push out the air. Next, smooth downwards at an angle towards, the outer edges either side of the centre.

d. Butt the joins using a paper brush, remembering the vertical joints will be visible. Use a felt roller for smoothing down edges if necessary. Once all the paper is hung, trim at ceiling and skirting lever using a sharp blade.
